Scott and Deb Devlin, new WEATHERBIRD owners, have been busy updating stock and giving this unique specialty shop a new facelift. The new logo and tagline, eat. sip. shop., gives an updated image to showcase the changes Scott and Deb have been busy making. The shop is full of artfully arranged, carefully chosen long time favorites, practical wares and whimsical gifts.

Scott and long time employee, Diane Newcombe, bake daily, filling the shelves with delicious pastries, French galettes, breads, pies, soups, salads and sandwiches. The freezer is packed with freshly made dinners to go. Take home lasagne, chicken pot pie, eggplant parmigiana, meatloaf or home made Mac and Cheese to name a few. Artisan cheeses from around the world, locally roasted Carrabasset coffee, handmade decadent truffles and a unique variety of specialty food products are a sampling of the goodies to be found.

An excellent selection of wine and beer, both local and from around the globe, is a specialty of WEATHERBIRD. All price points for all occasions. Ask any of the knowledgeable employees for a recommendation for food pairings or taste. Monthly wine tastings are a great way to try new offerings.

Prior to buying WEATHERBIRD in 2017, Deb and Scott owned Salt Bay Cafe. The original owner of WEATHERBIRD, Deirdre Barton, started the business in 1983 in a space above the former Salt Bay Cafe, before moving it to it’s present location, behind King Eider’s Pub. Barton sold the business to Wayne and Joanne Moore in 2007, who ran it for 10 years.
