I'm thrilled to unveil a significant change – Weatherbird is now Beal House! While our name has changed, rest assured, our commitment to providing exceptional service and quality products remains the same.
This new name pays homage to my parents' former business, nestled in the historic blacksmith residence where I spent my childhood on the Massachusetts South Shore
As the proud fourth owner of this downtown Damariscotta gem since its inception in 1983, I've witnessed its evolution over my two years of ownership. From its origins as a women's boutique to its transitions between housewares, market offerings, and wines, Beal House has continuously adapted to meet the community's needs.
After careful consideration, listening to valued feedback, and fine-tuning our focus on clothing, accessories, and jewelry while preserving our unique charm, I'm thrilled to announce that we will reopen on March 19 as Beal House with refreshed interiors. It's an honor to invite our loyal patrons and curious community to Beal House, and continue the legacy of this beloved specialty shop, which has long been a cherished destination for locals and visitors alike.
